Not much during the longest days of the year. Sun light lingers well after 9 p.m., letting me think that I still have time to pick a few strawberries before putting away my shovels. Next thing I know, I'm putting my shovels away in the dark.
Finished Life of Pi just the other night. What does the survival manual recommend? That we tell yarns. And go fishing. Two very enjoyable pursuits. On a par with husbanding the soil, watching things grow, and knowing that I had a part in the process. All that, and getting to eat fruit and vegetables fresh from the garden.
