Stick to your Ribs

Big Daddy is back. Saturdays only, on the northeast corner of University and Dale, in the parking lot next to 609 University Avenue West.

Look for the smoke. Or just follow your nose.

They're open from 11 to 7, unless they run out of food early.

I'm working my way through the menu. Started with the beef ribs on my first visit. Today I got the pork ribs. The pork is done just right; a little charred on the outside, moist and tender throughout. And the flavor is . . . hard to describe, but definitely better than I've had elsewhere. It's a smoky barbeque, served with the sauce on the side.

I'll let my photos do the talking. Here are the pork ribs up close.

My mouth is watering! I'm not a huge rib fan (unlike my husband who could eat them daily I think!). But every once in awhile, yum. And when you walk down the street with that aroma calling you - well, I'm sure I couldn't pass them up. They look very yummy.
